Complaints

We ask you to present all your complaints concerning the quality of our service or the work of the service staff in written form to the contacts marked on the ticket (by e-mail or by mail to Taisto Transport AS, Kollino Village, Antsla Rural Municipality, Võru County) or via the website Feedback. Complaints are not to be solved by phone!

 

In the complaint, you have to describe the unsatisfactory service (date of the journey, line number, time, bus stop) as precisely as possible, and also add your contacts so that we could send you an answer. We will only answer to written complaints sent to e-mail or mail address.

 

A passenger has the right to file a complaint within three months as of the date of the line carriage. The enterprise answers to incoming letters in 14 days; if it is not possible to give a final answer during that period, then the passenger is notified of accepting the complaint. In this case we forward the final answer of the transporter to the passenger within 3 months.

 

Returning of tickets

In case of the tickets bought from the bus stations, the procedure of repurchase is determined by each bus station separately; please contact with the seller by contacts marked on the ticket.

 

If the transporter has cancelled the journey then the bus station will repurchase such ticket, money will be returned in the amount of 100%; for that please turn to the ticket office where you bought the ticket.

 

If the journey is interrupted then the ticket that the passenger has bought for this journey is valid for arriving to the destination in other public transport vehicles on the same route, irrespective of the transporter.

 

If the journey is interrupted due to the reasons that do not depend on the transporter (snowstorm, slippery road, etc.) then the transporter will return some of the money for uncovered journey to the passenger if he/she requires so.

 

If the journey is interrupted due to the reasons that depend on the transporter, you have to contact in written form the contacts that are marked on the ticket (by e-mail or Taisto Transport AS, Kollino Village, Antsla Rural Municipality, 66405 Võru County), adding the description of the incident (date, line number, time, bus stop), number of the ticket, your account number, and the first and last name of the owner of the account). The bus driver will not repurchase the tickets on spot!

 

Family Ticket

Taisto Liinid offers families a possibility to travel more cheaply and purchase a family ticket (Perepilet).1

 

Family ticket can only be bought from the bus driver for at least a four-member company, of whom at least two must be children up to the age of 18 and at least one adult. The departure and destination of all passengers must be the same.

 

With family ticket you can get a discount of up to 40% on an average from the ordinary price of full ticket every day on all Taisto long-distance lines.

Taisto MediaCenter

 

 

The buses servicing our Pärnu-Tallinn and Võru-Tartu-Tallinn lines feature a free of charge Taisto MediaCenter. At the MediaCenter, on your smart device or computer, you can watch the best movies, play different games, listen to music or audiobooks, watch your journey on the map, and enjoy other entertainment on a long bus ride. The content of the MediaCenter is updated at least once a quarter.

The selection of movies in the Media Center consists of several dozen different movies in different genres: comedies, action movies, dramas, we also show horror movies and sci-fi movies, and for the smallest of travelers we have a wide variety of animations.

Among the audiobooks, the Media Center has stories in Estonian for the smallest and foreign classics for bigger travelers.

Please use headphones for media consumption. Headphones can also be bought from a bus driver at a price of € 1.50.

 

If you do not find suitable entertainment for yourself in the Taisto MediaCenter, then you can also surf the Internet free of charge. And should the battery of your device need charging, you can charge it at the 220V outlet on the bus.

 

NB! If for some reason, the media server on the bus is missing or the service is unsatisfactory, it is not the basis for the return of the ticket.

 

 

Free Wi-Fi access

 

All Taisto line buses are equipped with a device that enables its passengers to connect to a wireless network (Wi-Fi). The respective sticker is located on the side of the bus.

Our buses have Elisa network. To connect to a network, you have to view the available wireless networks on your device that can be connected to a wireless network (view available wireless networks) and then, choose a network from the list of networks named Taisto-Elisa-number. If you use a device-based e-mail programme to send e-mails, the outgoing mail server has to be smtp.elisa.ee.

Using the wireless network on the bus is free, the network is not password protected, and the data transmission of the service is not encrypted. Some websites with a lot of data are blocked. If the network is overloaded or the amount of data used is disproportionately large, access to the Wi-Fi on the bus will be blocked. The actual speed of the network at a certain time depends on the number of passengers using the network, the geographical location of the devices, the load of the network, etc. Consequently, there may be disconnections lasting up to tens of minutes on major roads. If the disconnection lasts longer or there is no connection at the beginning of the trip (in the city), please inform the bus driver, as they can then restart the Wi-Fi device.

 

NB! The absence of Wi-Fi or an unsatisfactory network speed does not give you the right to ask for your money back.

Good to know

Always plan your trip ahead of time. The schedules are compiled in view of optimal road and weather conditions and thus, buses may deviate from the schedule due to weather conditions in the winter and due to road repairs in the summer. Buses may deviate from the schedule if the safety of passengers and other road users cannot be guaranteed or the baggage may be damaged (difficult road conditions, road repairs, and other circumstances out of the control of the enterprise).

 

If you want to get off in an on-demand bus stop upon arriving to the destination, then notify the bus driver of your wish when you enter the bus, so that the bus driver could better plan the journey.

 

If there are seat belts in the bus then you have to wear them.

 

In order to ensure safety, we ask small children and elderly people not to sit on the seats of the front row.

 

Please do not disturb other passengers and bus driver during the journey. If you watch movies or listen to music from the media devices, then please use always earmuffs.

 

It is strictly prohibited to be in the bus when you are intoxicated, to use alcohol and smoke.

 

If there is a toilet in the bus, please ask the key from the bus driver in order to use it (it is possible to use toilet, when the daily outside temperature is over 0 degrees Celsius, i.e. during warm season).

 

Before getting off the bus, please make sure that your surroundings are orderly: clear up all the trash that you have caused, put the back support back to the vertical position, put the curtains back to their initial position.
